The Lagos Food & Beverage Fair 2013

This is the first edition of the The Lagos Food & Beverage Fair which is targeted for the Ramadan season; a period when Muslims all over the world observe fasting according to the dictates of the Holy Quran. During this period a lot of Muslims usually purchase, stock up, and distribute food and beverage products; non-Muslims alike (especially in Lagos State) also do likewise and give food items to friends and relatives who observe Ramadan.

The theme of this year’s edition of the fair is ‘NEIGHBOURLINESS: Desire for your neighbour, what you love for yourself'; which is the theme in line with the teachings of the Holy Quran. The idea of ‘Neighbourliness’ is a philosophy that is ingrained into personal, business and social/community life in Lagos State. Lagos State aims at building a model of the ideals of social order and peaceful co-existence amongst all citizens and residents (irrespective of ethnicity and/or religion) in Nigeria today.
The Lagos Food & Beverage Fair is an event that will come up twice in a year. With the first quota being targeted at the Ramadan,  while the second quota is targeted at the Ember period towards Christmas and New Year Season.
So get ready and save to "shop and drop" at the first edition from the 4th to 7th July, 2013 at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
